    MEET THE SPEAKERS

    Keith Stokes, M.D. is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Physician Educator of DocuComp®LLC – a wholly physician owned and managed consulting organization whose extensive expertise is in physician documentation education for ICD-10, CDI Specialist and Case Manager documentation improvement and integrity, clinical coding improvement, medical necessity, and compliance reviews/audits. 

    Dr. Jacob Martin MD, PA-C, CDI-C  is a board certified physician and physician education who has been a practicing provider for over 40 years. Dr. Martin has extensive practice experience in Emergency medicine in Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. He has worked in forensic medicine, including as a deputy coroner, medical examiner as well as a sports medicine director for a human performance lab and insurance medical reviewer. Dr. Martin found his passion in clinical documentation integrity and improvement and has worked as an instructor in CDI for the past 22 years. He is board certified by ABPM and ABQURP.   

    Deborah Gardner-Brown, RHIT, CCS, CDIP, CCDS, CCDI,CI-CDI, CPMA, AHIMA Approved ICD-10 CM/PCS & CDI Trainer. Deborah is a Subject Matter Expert, Speaker, DRG Dispute Resolution Examiner and experienced Auditor for the acute and outpatient care settings. She has authored, developed, and presented educational material on several ICD-10-CM/PCS and CDI topics. She has presented at several AHIMA/ACDIS state component events in the Tri state area. She has decades of experience auditing and teaching inpatient/outpatient coding/clinical documentation in several Level I Shock/Trauma Acute Care Hospitals. Deborah Gardner-Brown is the founder of the UCDCI Learning Library, Sepsis Integrity Review Services, and is Principal Consultant for Reimbursement Review Associates, Inc.

    Glenn Krauss is a well-recognized and respected subject matter expert in the revenue cycle with an emphasis and focus upon collaborating and working closely with physicians in promoting, advocating for educating and achieving sustainable improvement in clinical documentation that accurately reflects and reports the communication of fully informed coordinated patient care. Glenn possesses 25 plus years of progressive practical hands-on experience in clinical coding and documentation improvement, subscribing to the philosophy that quality of medical record documentation strongly correlates with overall quality of care and the overall achievement of a high performing revenue cycle.
